information regarding the following SACRAMENTS
OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, please

regarding each Sacrament is as follows:
BAPTISM - Two (2)
sessions with parent(s) required. At
least one God-parent must be a practicing
Catholic.
RECONCILIATION -
Confessions by appointment.
FIRST RECONCILIATION
- for children age seven (7) years and
older, two years of mandatory Religious
Education and a six-session program is
required. (Diocesan regulation)
FIRST EUCHARIST -
First Holy Communion for children age
seven (7) and older, two years of
mandatory Religious Education and a
six-session program is required.
(Diocesan regulation)
CONFIRMATION - The
Sacrament of Confirmation is offered to
youth who have completed two (2) years of
mandatory Religious Education following
their First Holy Communion and who are
either in their Junior or Senior year of
High School.
MARRIAGE - Couples
planning for the Sacrament of Marriage
are asked to contact the Pastor at least
6 (six) months prior to the planned
wedding date. Couples are requested to
attend an Engaged Encounter weekend;
complete a pre-marital inventory called
"Foccus" (Facilitating Open
Couple Communication, Understanding and
Study); and attend four (4) preparation
sessions.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
- This Sacrament is administered by a
priest. Arrangements can be made by
contacting Sheila Przesmicki, or
requesting reception of the Sacrament
immediately following the Mass.
