WAYS
THAT ALL PARISHIONERS CAN BE INVOLVED IN
PASTORAL ACTIVITY
- Accept a Church ministry such as
lector, Eucharistic minister,
sacristan, altar server, usher,
religious education teacher,
music ministry, etc.
- Reach out to inactive Catholics.
- Engage in ecumenical activity.
- Help to keep the Mass
(Eucharistic liturgy) as the
center of parish life by
attending Church each Sunday and
on Holy Days.
- Help build community by getting
to know other parishioners;
visiting the sick and homebound;
show concern through telephone
calls, sending e-mails or
dropping a card in the mail.
- Be concerned about the civic
community by participating in
activities of Project Homestead,
the Chamber of Commerce, etc.
- Cultivate Catholic identity and a
sense of belonging to the
world-wide Catholic Church.
